Hours of Operation: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Description: Food pantry services provide food and other commodities to low income individuals and families two days each week at Brashear and Kaufmann Centers. Annually, over 1,000 unduplicated residents are served from the communities of Arlington, Bon Air, Carrick, Knoxville, Mt. Oliver, and South Side. Participants may obtain food every thirty days. Information concerning public benefits and other services is also provided. During the holiday season, services include special distributions Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Pittsburgh Community Services, and Hunger Services Network.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by appointment only.

Description:   Information and referral services are offered to the community at-large and include all responses to telephone, walk-in, e-mail, and mail inquiries concerning all agency services as well as those available through other entities. I/R services also include the agency’s quarterly newsletter and press releases to local community newspapers, churches, and newsletters.

Description:  With funding from Pittsburgh Community Services and the Birmingham Foundation, the agency comprehensive case management services to low income families and individuals from the food pantry service area. Services include financial literacy education, linkage to public and private benefits, referral to employment and training programs, tangible assistance, and utility assistance.
